Athleta Basketball Club committee members and players are deeply saddened with the news of the demise of Leslie Brooks, a cherished member of the Athleta family. Leslie was more than just a player and a coach. He was the heart of the Club for many years. His honesty, passion, dedication and unwavering commitment left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of playing beside him or learning under his guidance. Leslie’s name is synonymous with Athleta. He gave so much of himself to the game shaping generations of players not just with skill but with integrity and humility.
